How it works
Landlords and rental or leasing agencies with a rental unit can now protect their rental income with the rental income protection plan. Landlord and rental or leasing agencies will secure their own rental income protection plan for the rental unit or require the tenant to purchase the protection plan.
Alternatively, potential tenants can secure the rental income protection credentials prior to meeting with the landlord and rental or leasing agency. This is especially helpful if there are perhaps issues with the potential tenant’s credit, or also if the potential tenant wants to be as tenant worthy for the landlord or rental agency as possible.
Prospective tenants without credit issues can also secure rental income protection credentials to differentiate themselves from other potential tenants when meeting with landlords and rental or leasing agencies. The protection plans are made available in two options; the first option is an annual premium paid in full and with the second option, premium payments can be made over a three month period.
If the landlord and rental or leasing agency have to evict their tenant due to non-payment of rent or for any other reason, the landlord or agency simply report the case to RentalLogics and the process of rental reimbursement begins.
